Comtech Telecommunications Corp. [NASDAQ: CMTL] has informed all that the company’s subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp., was just awarded a $5.3 million development contract by the U.S. Air Force for the High Data Rate Radio Frequency (HDR-RF) Ground Modem. The HDR-RF Ground Modem will provide high data rate capabilities on nextgen Wideband Global Satcom (WGS) satellites.
