Directly supporting the U.S. Air Force Space Command’s 45th Space Wing at Patrick Air Force Base in Florida is Computer Sciences Raytheon (CSR). The company has supported the Eastern Range since 1988 and was formed as a joint venture partnership by Computer Sciences Corporation and Raytheon Technical Services Company.
They have just received a critical contract encompassing all critical range and support systems, to include downrange facilities support, base and range local area network/metropolitan area network (LAN/MAN) service, and other minor technical systems support. All of the $816,171,570 in funds have been obligated to SCR as they will support the launch processing mission of the 45 Space Wing and all of their launch customers at Cape Canaveral Air Station—Patrick Air Force Base, Florida—August 28, 2007
