The U.S.A.F. has exercised contract options totaling $29.8m for the Rapid Attack Identification Detection Report Systems (RAIDRS) Block 10 (RB-10) program to the recipient, Integral Systems, Inc. [NASDAQ:ISYS]. This contract extends the period of performance through December of 2010. Air Force Space Command leadership has given the approval to move forward with the RB-10 Final Operational Capability (FOC) system development. RB-10 detects, reports, identifies, locates, and classifies interference events against our military space assets. The system includes automated detection sensors, information processors, and a reporting architecture. The base contract provides for the Initial Operational Capability (IOC), including a Central Operating Location system and deployable sensor systems. The FOC phase provides enhanced capabilities including the addition of worldwide fixed sensor sites, enhanced geolocation accuracy, and additional lifecycle cost saving automation.
Integral Systems is the prime contractor for the RB-10 program. RB-10 utilizes COTS hardware and software components from Integral’s RT Logic, SAT, and Newpoint subsidiaries to perform its primary functions. RT Logic is providing its Telemetrix® Sentinal products for signal processing, SAT is providing its Monics Satellite Carrier Monitoring/Interference Detection software, and Newpoint is providing its Compass Enterprise Management System—Lanham, Maryland
