Munters To Harass Cape Canaveral Humidity

Over $4 million worth of Munters custom air handling units (AHUs) will be performing dehumidification at the future Eastern Processing Facility at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The custom desiccant AHUs will provide dehumidification required for the assembly of satellites to be launched from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.

As announced by the Russian government last week, Anatoly Perminov, director of Roscosmos, will lead the Russian State Commission through the investigation into the recent Proton mission anomaly during the JCSat-11 launch. On September 6th at 04:43 Baikonur time (or 07:43 Tokyo time, or on September 5th at 22:43 hours GMT or 18:43 EDT), JCSAT-11 will be hoisted into space by a four-burn ILS Proton M/Breeze M rocket. From Launch Pad 39 at Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, this Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems built satellite will provide JSAT Corporation with multipurpose communications capabilities as a critically-needed backup vehicle for the JSAT fleet, providing coverage over Japan, the Asia-Pacific region, Oceania and Hawaii.
