Expand Networks, a provider of application acceleration solutions over the wide area network (WAN), announced the company has replaced Packeteer’s (recently acquired by BlueCoat) Performance Enhancing Proxy (PEP) for Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)’s DVB-RCS Network, based on its ability to provide a complete WAN optimization solution, rather than a TCP Acceleration only solution for the DVB-RCS VSAT network.
