The MRI surveillance plane that will be presented in Chile expands the solutions offering with which Indra addresses land, sea and air Defence and Security needs. The aircraft includes an advanced radar system, an AIS vessel identification system, a wide bandwidth data link and a state-of-the-art electro-optic device. This technology offers the highest level of effectiveness in exploring and monitoring maritime spaces. With a range of up to 200 nautical miles, this new plane strengthens the control exercised by the systems Indra develops for patrol vessels, with a range of up to 100 nautical miles. It also complements coastal surveillance systems, which have a range of 50 nautical miles. Indra is the leader in rolling out this last type of solution, with more than 3,500 kilometres of border surveillance throughout the world.
