The aluminum tripod supports dishes with a mast size of either 1 5/8-inch or 2-inch diameter and a weight of up to 35 pounds. The new tripod features the exclusive H&G eZEE-AIM Tripod System and Coleman Lensatic Compass, which allow users to adjust their dishes to within two to three degrees of the correct azimuth each time the dish is aimed. It will accommodate most brands of satellite dishes. The Heavy-Duty Tripod was manufactured for TV4RV by CST/Berger, a leading manufacturer of industrial tripods and surveying equipment. The mast assembly has a center core of galvanized steel and is clad in layers of all-weather PVC. The mast comes set up for a 2-inch diameter dish, but easily converts to accommodate the 1 5/8-inch mast size. Each leg adjusts in length individually, making it easy to level the tripod’s mounting platform using the circular bubble level supplied. The tripod is securely anchored with the tie-down stake and heavy-duty bungee cord supplied or using other non-ground penetrating methods described in the instructions. The tripod folds to a compact size of 38 X 6 X 6-inches and adjusts in height from 34-inches to 61-inches with a 32-inch leg spread. The legs may be extended with a wider stance for greater stability in high-wind areas.
