The collaboration aims to strengthen cyber resilience across the space sector by accelerating the exchange of threat intelligence and expanding digital risk management capabilities for critical space infrastructure and supporting ground networks.
Platform Capabilities and Threat Intelligence Scope
Resecurity brings a specialized suite of external attack surface management and threat intelligence monitoring tools to Space ISAC’s member network. Operating across surface, deep, and dark web environments, the company’s platform provides early warning metrics regarding nation-state threat activity and cybercriminal targeting.
Key functional areas integrated into the partnership include:
- Attack Surface Management: External threat tracking to identify exposed ground network nodes and satellite control interfaces.
- Adversary Tracking: Intelligence gathering on nation-state actors and advanced persistent threat (APT) groups targeting space technology supply chains.
- Risk Prioritization: Dark web monitoring and third-party risk analysis to defend ground stations and orbital telemetry links.
Operational Framework and Sector Security Context
Founded in 2019 and headquartered at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, Space ISAC functions as the primary all-threats security information clearinghouse for public and private space entities. The organization reached a major operational benchmark with the activation of its Operational Watch Center, which provides continuous threat monitoring and incident response coordination.
The onboarding of specialized threat intelligence partners comes as Space ISAC expands its public-private coordination role ahead of classified intelligence exchanges, such as the upcoming Value of Space Summit (VOSS VII).
