The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has enlisted the expertise of Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd.'s (NASDAQ, TASE: GILT) subsidiary Wavestream.

The company has received orders for over 6 million dollars from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) for its state-of-the-art GaN BUCs. Gilat is recognized for their satellite networking technology, solutions and services.

This venture is the first award for Gilat of a five-year base-period of potentially over $10M of deliveries to the U.S. DoD.
