ND Satcom concluded a new SNG deal during the IBC trade show in Amsterdam. VTS, a German system integrator for audio and video technology, has now ordered two satellite uplinks for Satellite News Gathering (SNG) vehicles. They will be delivered to WDR (Westdeutscher Rundfunk), a major European broadcaster, with both uplink systems to be integrated by ND SatCom in Friedrichshafen.

Intelsat, Ltd. announced GlobeCast has signed additional channels for its WorldTV Direct-to-Home (DTH) service in Europe using prime Intelsat capacity on the Intelsat 905 satellite, located at 335.5º E.
