SIA Supports H.R. 2410: Satellite Tech Export Changes

The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) has expressed its support of H.R. 2410, the Foreign Relations Authorization Act, Fiscal Years 2010 and 2011, now being considered by the U.S. House of Representatives. Among other elements, H.R. 2410, includes a provision — Section 826 — which would restore authority to the Executive Branch to determine the appropriate export licensing treatment for satellites and related components.
