On August 25, 2026, San Diego-based antenna and radio frequency solution provider Taoglas announced the completed acquisition of Wireless Instruments Sp. z o.o., known commercially as QuWireless.
Headquartered in Poland, QuWireless specializes in manufacturing high-performance outdoor antennas and integrated antenna-enclosure systems for wireless communication equipment. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Integrated Antenna Enclosure Architecture
QuWireless develops all-in-one integrated hardware systems designed to house industrial routers directly inside weatherized antenna enclosures. By mounting cellular and Wi-Fi routers inside the enclosure body, the integrated design eliminates the need for long coaxial RF cabling runs between external antennas and indoor networking hardware.
Removing intermediate RF cabling reduces signal attenuation and insertion loss, improving link reliability across outdoor installations. The pre-configured enclosures feature mounting hardware compatible with major industrial router manufacturers, allowing installers to mount a single unified assembly. The hardware configurations support deployment across industrial sites, telecommunications infrastructure, smart grid networks, transport systems, rooftop installations, and remote connectivity nodes.

Post-Acquisition Integration Outlook
Following the transaction, the Polish company will operate under the organizational structure of QuWireless, a Taoglas company. The existing product line will continue under the QuWireless brand during the initial transition period. The engineering and manufacturing staff will remain based in Poland, serving as Taoglas’ European center of excellence for antenna enclosure design while integrating with Taoglas’ global engineering, testing, and certification teams.
