SENER is once again attending the Washington DC satellite show, which started on Monday, May 6. At this year's edition, SENER has a stand to showcase their products, equipment and systems for satellite communications, with a comprehensive portfolio of solutions for space missions including steerable antennas, fixed antennas, RF passive equipment, RF active equipment and electromechanical equipment.

With 50 years’ experience in the design, development, testing and integration for critical equipment in space missions, SENER's professional track record includes more than 7,000 hardware units that have been successfully supplied to and deployed by the aerospace industry. Some of the products that may be seen on display at the DC show include SENER's DTA rotary actuator product range , which now includes the DTA-4- 200, DTA-4- 300 (38 mm diameter) and DTA-6- 200 (60 mm diameter) actuators.
Also on display is the range of non-explosive release devices called NEReA (Non Explosive Release Actuator), developed entirely by SENER using proprietary technology and currently undergoing validation.
In the field of active radio-frequency, SENER’s Ka- and Ku-band reception equipment, based on distributed, modular Low Noise Amplifiers (LNA), downconverters (DoCon) and Receivers (RCV), all leading to considerable savings in terms of mass, as well as offering optimum versatility for satellite manufacturers and state-of-the-art features is featured at the company's stand.
The company’s production, integration and testing facilities, now optimized to increase the production of electronic components for use in space, including Microwave Hybrid Integrated Circuits, are also worthy of a special mention.
SENER will also be giving information on all types of passive radio-frequency systems and satellite antennas, both telemetry and telecommand, with global or restricted coverage, feeders for on-board reflectors or even reflector antennas with integrated pointing systems.
