[SatNews] BFMTV, the most watched live news gathering channel in France has renewed its broadband satellite modems fleet and its commitment to IEC Telecom Group for a few more years.
After three years of a successful partnership, BFMTV has decided to extend its commitment to IEC Telecom for the supply of the new Inmarsat HDR (High Data Rate) BGAN, as well as the management of its satellite communications. With high mobility constraints, BFMTV reporters and journalists will be able to deploy their technical equipment on the field even more quickly and capture the best images and videos that are making headlines. BFMTV also selected Quicklink, an IEC Telecom Group company, for the supply of encoding video licenses allowing high quality video live broadcasting from the field to the studios/ headquarters.
