COM DEV International Ltd. (TSX:CDV) has been awarded a contract valued in excess of US$6 million to provide switches, filters and multiplexers for a commercial communications satellite. The Company expects to complete work on the contract within the first half of calendar 2011 at its facility in Cambridge, Ontario. This is the first follow-on contract resulting from an agreement announced January 7, 2010, under which COM DEV provided the customer with pricing terms for equipment on three satellites. COM DEV manufactures advanced products and subsystems that are sold to major satellite prime contractors for use in communications, space science, remote sensing and military satellites.
