RT Logic, a wholly owned subsidiary of Integral Systems, Inc. [NASDAQ-ISYS], has debuted their Telemetrix 500RX High-Rate Digital/Analog Recorder System (T500RX). Combining RT Logic high-speed FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array)-based hardware and firmware with affordable COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) PC server technology, the T500RX provides aggregate recording and playback rates in excess of 1 Gbps. Available in 1U, 2U, and 5U rackmount versions, the network-centric T500RX offers numerous flexible recording, storage, and networking options. Low to high channel counts and data rates are supported with hot-swappable storage ranging from a few gigabytes up to many terabytes.
The T500RX has been designed specifically to meet the requirements for data recording in defense and aerospace applications where modularity, flexibility, and performance are of paramount importance. Available options include concurrent high-rate processing and transport of real-time data across LANs (Local Area Networks) and WANs (Wide Area Networks). This means the T500RX can solve multiple application requirements at one time, simultaneously lowering system solution cost and risk. Additional key system features include: simultaneous record/playback; IRIG (Inter-Range Instrumentation Group) time stamping of real-time data; auto detects signal rate on input, and maintains strict time-data correlation on output; and network access to recorded files in an Open Architecture file system—Colorado Springs, Colorado
