Comtech Telecommunications Corp. [NASDAQ: CMTL] has announced their Tempe, Arizona-based subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp., received a $3.6 million satellite communications equipment order from a U.S. government agency. The equipment will support the government agency's satellite-based communications network.

The service is called “Direct to Sailor” TV (DTS-TV) and the broadcasts are under the umbrella of the Naval Media Center (NMC).
