On Thursday, September 10, 2026, low Earth orbit positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) provider TrustPoint announced a manufacturing contract award to EnduroSat US to construct 40 commercial satellites.

Under the agreement, EnduroSat US will manufacture and integrate the spacecraft across three production tranches, expanding TrustPoint’s C-band GNSS constellation from initial on-orbit demonstration platforms toward volume operational deployment.
Program History and Commercial Procurement Framework
The production contract transitions TrustPoint from single-satellite flight validation to series satellite manufacturing. TrustPoint’s operational approach relies on integrating its proprietary C-band navigation payloads onto standardized commercial satellite buses rather than establishing vertically integrated manufacturing facilities.
The constellation scaling builds upon earlier technical milestones, including live-sky transmission of C-band GNSS signals, ground-to-space PNT relays, and the launch of three free-flying demonstration satellites. The company has demonstrated C-band signal resilience through active electronic interference on commercial receiver hardware in partnership with Hexagon. TrustPoint continues advancing its navigation technology under contracts with the U.S. Navy, Air Force, and U.S. Space Force, which previously awarded the company a Tactical Funding Increase (TACFI) contract to field a four-satellite, four-ground-station PNT testbed.
Satellite Bus Architecture and Payload Integration
EnduroSat US will supply its flight-proven commercial microsatellite platforms to host TrustPoint’s C-band PNT payloads. The satellite buses provide standardized power distribution, high-precision attitude determination and control systems (ADCS), and high-throughput data relays tailored for low Earth orbit operations.
By utilizing high-frequency C-band signals from LEO rather than traditional L-band signals from Medium Earth Orbit (MEO), TrustPoint’s architecture delivers higher signal power, increased jam resistance, and improved multipath performance. These positioning signals are designed to provide alternative, un-spoofable timing and positioning data for autonomous vehicles, critical infrastructure networks, and military forces operating in contested, denied, or GPS-degraded environments.

Tranche Delivery Schedule and Deployment Roadmap
The 40-satellite manufacturing program is structured in three consecutive production tranches to enable progressive capacity deployment. Engineering teams from TrustPoint and EnduroSat US will integrate the initial tranche of C-band navigation satellites ahead of planned orbital launches, incorporating operational flight data from each deployment phase into subsequent manufacturing runs to scale full constellation operations.
