The Converged Communications Edge Services Router (CCESR) is now available from Information Assurance Specialist Inc. (IAS).
The IAS CCESR is the first and only dual Cisco 5915 ESR single form factor device of its kind providing enterprise-level secure classified and unclassified mobile communications services. Weighing less than 5 lbs., including an internal battery and uninterruptable power supply, the IAS CCESR is a highly portable, robust secure communications solution.
Built from the ground up, the CCESR is the smallest, lightest isolated Red/Black dual Cisco 5915 enterprise class router/VPN gateway available, providing enterprise-level classified and secure unclassified mobile communications services. The CCESR is lightweight, portable and has compact dimensions smaller than a standard ream of 8.5 x 11 paper. The device enables users access to secured, classified voice and data services, over multiple classified networks, from even the most remote locations.
Designed to withstand unpredictable environments, the CCESR contains an internal backup lithium-ion battery pack and an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) enabling system operation when AC or DC power isn’t readily available. The UPS also allows users the flexibility to transition from AC main power to DC power from a vehicle without interruption of operation.
The CCESR also provides clean isolated, regulated DC power out for two additional devices (i.e. ViaSat KG-250X, KG-250XS, KG-175D, SecNet 54, or MiniCatipan and/ or a Cradlepoint IBR600/650) and offers a means to rigidly mount these and other devices using IAS mounting plates.
IAS has also submitted the CCESR to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) for placement in its DoD Enterprise Classified Travel Kit Gateway (DECTK-GW) program along with other components the company manufactures.
Additionally, the company now has their IAS Small Tactical Executive WAN (STEW) communications solution, IAS KG-175D Replacement Unit (KG-RU), and IAS Router MICRO placed on the NSA Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) Program Component List.
The IAS STEW, KG-RU and IAS Router MICRO are highly portable, robust communications solutions enabling users’ access to secure, classified voice, data, and video services, over multiple commercial network technologies, from even the most remote locations. Built from the ground up, IAS’ STEW, KG-RU and IAS Router MICRO are enterprise-class, highly secure, unclassified IP networking router/VPN gateway/firewall appliances.
IAS products are already in use by government agencies that include the Department of Defense, Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Security Agency, the National Security Council, Executive Office of the President and many others.
