[SatNews] S3 Group has been selected by Verimatrix to manage its partner pre-certification service and provide integration support for the Verimatrix ViewRight® client security library and its Video Content Authority System (VCAS™) solutions.
As Verimatrix continues its rapid growth and expansion, the company needed a reliable outsourced solution provider to augment its in-house client integration team. Verimatrix has awarded S3 Group a multi-year, managed service contract to deliver this service to its customers.
S3 Group is providing Verimatrix’s global operator customers and partners a turnkey ViewRight pre-certification and integration support service that will enable them to rapidly and flawlessly integrate the VCAS solution with their digital receiver devices.
S3 Group is currently focused on streamlining customer deployments of VCAS for DVB, with robust implementations of ViewRight on Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) enabled set-top boxes (STBs), enabling digital TV operators to take advantage of standards-based and proven DVB technology and an upgrade path to interactive IP-based networks using a VCAS single security authority. VCAS for DVB, which is deployed by more than 100 operators around the world, provides the ideal foundation for satellite, cable and terrestrial operators that wish to avail themselves of best-in class-security for one-way networks, while also preparing for a multi-screen future.
