Atlantic Radio Telephone, Inc. is the latest company to qualify as authorized service partner of Inmarsat PLC. Inmarsat has formally accepted Atlantic Radio Telephone as a Bronze level service provider. Since 1982, Atlantic Radio Telephone has been installing Inmarsat A, B, C and M satellite communications systems on luxury yachts and commercial vessels. For the last 12 years Atlantic Radio Telephone has been providing mobile satellite services to a variety of industries through it SatPhoneStore division. Throughout the years Atlantic Radio Telephone and SatPhoneStore have been able to serve hundreds of boaters, world travelers, military personnel, non-profits, emergency responders, utilities and others who find themselves off the grid by using Inmarsat services such as Inmarsat mini M voice service, GAN (Global Area Network), BGAN (Broadband Global Area Network), Fleet 33, 55 and 77 – voice and internet at sea systems, Fleet Broadband, and IsatPhone Pro – Inmarsat’s first hand-held mobile satellite phone.

In 2010, SatPhoneStore provided several hundred BGAN terminals for the general elections in Brazil and more than one hundred BGAN terminals and airtime service for the presidential elections in Ivory Coast. Atlantic Radio Telephone has also contributed to the Inmarsat portfolio by including accessories compatible with Inmarsat products in its SatStation line of satellite phone docking and charging solutions. Among these are the single bay and four bay desktop battery chargers for the IsatPhone Pro and the new miniBLU Bluetooth handset that pairs with the IsatPhone Pro and well as some of Inmarsat Link Phone and FleetPhone products.
