This was implemented the thorough restructuring of internal resources and has been implemented to re-focus Vizada Networks‘ already proven defence market capabilities, ensuring existing and new customers are fully supported by a dedicated, highly-trained and experienced team of defence communications professionals.
Vizada Networks has a good relationship with NATO, which is reflected by the recent signing of a contract with the NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A) to supply the communications infrastructure for the NATO ‘SILK-Afghanistan’ project. This high profile project is an extension of the NATO Virtual Silk Highway (SILK) project that was initiated in 2002 to provide affordable, high-speed Internet access via satellite in the Caucasus and Central Asian countries. Under SILK Afghanistan, Vizada Networks will extend the connectivity to higher education facilities throughout Afghanistan
