Starling Advanced Communications has formed a new strategic partnerships with RuSat Satellite Telecommunications Teleport to market its StarCar SATCOM antenna system. StarCar is a unique, roof-mounted, flat-panel Ku band antenna based on Starling’s Coherent Multi-Panel Antenna (CoMPATM) technology, which maximizes efficiency to guarantee connectivity in any climate or geographic environment while reducing the amount and cost of satellite usage.
StarCar weighs in at a mere 60 lb/27.2 kg, with all miniaturized components housed within the unit itself. Front-line units and first responders can easily remain in touch using StarCar’s ability to transmit and receive video, VOIP, and heavy data files of up to 40Mbps. StarCar achieves instant connectivity without the presence of a terrestrial backbone, whether it was compromised by a natural or manmade disaster or never existed because of the remoteness of the location.
