Globecomm Systems — Financially Speaking… (SatBroadcasting™)

Globecomm Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: GCOM) has received an infrastructure contract valued at $4.6 million. Pursuant to the terms set forth in the contract, Globecomm will act as a general contractor to provide a new, next generation, media data center. Systems to be provided include conversion of analog, SD, and HD video feeds to Internet Protocol streaming formats realized by the Globecomm network design. Globecomm Systems’ AxxSys Orion Network Management System monitor and control software will provide local and remote network management.
