The new licensing arrangement greatly simplifies access to Geomatica tools for NRCan’s Earth Sciences Sector and Canada Centre for Remote Sensing scientists located across Canada. Users connect to a centralized server, which controls the access to the purchased licenses when they invoke the Geomatica software tools. This has significantly streamlined license maintenance efforts within the department and provides simple access to new Geomatica 10.2 desktop software modules.
