Al Yah Satellite Communications Company PrJsc (Yahsat) has announced the launch of a new satellite broadband Internet service. Named “YahClick”, the service will be offered for the first time in many countries of the Middle East, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, and South West Asia. The service will be available for home users and enterprises through Yahsat-1B, Yahsat’s second satellite that is scheduled to be launched in mid 2011. Yahsat is the UAE’s first nationally-owned satellite operator and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mubadala.
