iDirect, Inc., a company of VT Systems Inc., has increased its global market share of total TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) sathub sales to 47 percent in 2006. This is according to new market data compiled by COMSYS, one of the satellite industry’s leading analyst firms. The market share stat follows COMSYS’ 2007 VSAT industry report wherein iDirect is named as the second largest company in enterprise TDMA hardware revenues. The report also reveals that iDirect recorded the fastest growth in enterprise terminals shipped in 2006, increasing by almost 50 percent over the 2005 figures and totaling nearly 10 percent of overall market share. The iDirect sathubs portfolio enables service providers to operate a shared bandwidth platform spanning multiple satellites, transponders and topologies simultaneously.
