Dawn Aerospace has engaged in a partnership with Perigee Aerospace Inc., a prominent player in Korea’s rapidly growing space industry.
Perigee Aerospace is an end-to-end space mobility company based in South Korea. For ground-to-space transportation service, Perigee is developing a two-stage launch vehicle called Blue Whale 1 (BW1), with the capacity to place up to 200 kg in LEO.
This strategic collaboration marks Dawn Aerospace’s formal entry into the Korean space market, with the two companies working together on an upcoming mission, focusing on the launch of satellites into a 500 km SSO.
Dawn Aerospace and Perigee Aerospace are set to carry out satellite, green-propulsion system projects in Korea by leveraging their outstanding engine expertise and resources. Additionally, they plan to conduct satellite launches using the Blue Whale 1 and engage in joint marketing activities worldwide.
