Skyware Technologies has announced the signing of a reseller agreement with IEC Telecom Group to sell and support its range of fixed and transportable Global Xpress (GX) SKY and ATOM land terminals.
The SKY and ATOM land terminals complement IEC Telecom’s existing product portfolio as service providers of mobile and fixed satellite communications. In turn, this partnership serves to strengthen Skyware Technologies’ channel partner network and reach within the Asian, African, Middle East and European markets for this innovative range of terminals.
As an approved Launch Terminal with Inmarsat, Skyware Technologies is committed to working with IEC Telecom to meet end-user requirements in varied and often demanding operating conditions.
Inmarsat is a provider of global mobile satellite communication services based on Ka-Band and the first satellite (Inmarsat-5 F1) of the Global Xpress constellation that entered service in July 2014. The fleet of four Global Xpress satellites, scheduled to be fully deployed by mid-2015, will create the world’s first globally available Ka-band service, mobile high-speed broadband satellite network, providing high-throughput services on land, at sea and in the air.
