The spin-off creates a new entity to encompass all of Skyware Global’s premier electronics engineering offerings, including operations in Krefeld, Germany, the Stockport, U.K. engineering office, as well as the rapidly growing Tactical Ground Systems, division which will continue to develop deployable, integrated terminals.
David C. McCourt will remain Chairman of Skyware Global and will also assume the role of Interim Chairman for Skyware Technologies to allow for on-going consistency and collaboration, and to help customers take advantage of the new capabilities. He said, “We felt that it was in our customers’ best interest to focus our resources on driving the development and innovations in our antenna design and high-volume manufacturing processes, while enabling our electronics and Tactical Ground Systems verticals to grow to the next level.”
By building upon the exemplary reputation of Skyware Global, this heightened level of focus will allow for greater speed to market, enhanced agility and increased responsiveness to customer requirements. Skyware Global will continue to design the high quality antenna solutions it is known for and make additional advancements in its manufacturing operations. Skyware Technologies will now be able to pursue investments, grants and customer opportunities in sectors that may not have been available otherwise, while Skyware Global will be able to focus on best of class technologies to provide total solutions in support of major satellite communication systems.

The spin-off is expected to be seamless to Skyware Global’s customer base as Skyware Global and Skyware Technologies will collaborate to ensure the continuation of joint projects, and will team in providing cutting-edge, “bundled” outdoor solutions to existing and new customers.
