[SatNews] To be among the first to debut a new service, this Company is also tying in other value-added solutions…
Vizada will be one of the first Inmarsat Distribution Partners to provide the new FleetPhone maritime handset with email and data transfer capabilities to its extensive network of over 400 service provider partners. Vizada will optimize the phone’s data capabilities by adapting several of their popular value-added solutions including SkyFile© Mail, Universal Card™ and Satellite Direct©. Inmarsat has announced the launch of their new entry-level voice service for end-July 2011. The satellite telephone will feature not only high quality voice calls and voicemail, but also text and email messaging capabilities. A supplemental voice line means the captain is able to have his own private communications while the crew maintains their dedicated line for personal or professional calling.
The PBX integration allows for simple calling between the different phones located on the ship while the piracy safe room ensures a dedicated lifeline for emergency calling onboard. Inmarsat is offering a choice of robust terminals and antennas to support the FleetPhone service.
Vizada is pleased to offer their popular Vizada Solutions which have been specially developed for FleetPhone compatability. Universal Card, Vizada’s popular crew calling card solution, can be used jointly with the handset in order to control prepaid calling for captain and crew. Business tools and resources like The Source© allow for monitoring SIM card traffic and other web management. The SkyFile© Mail messaging system enables email compression as well as anti-virus protection and spam filter capabilities. Vizada Solutions are available for immediate use with the FleetPhone.
