NewSat Limited (ASX: NWT; OTC: NWTLY) has appointed senior international satellite executive, Yael Shamos, who will play a key role in developing NewSat’s future growth objectives and fulfilling the Company’s vision of becoming a customer-focused, leading global satellite operator. As Vice President of Business Development, Yael Shamos will apply her extensive global business development experience to drive sales growth and target new markets for NewSat’s Jabiru Satellite Program. Yael brings with her more than 20 years experience in the telecommunications and broadcasting sectors, having held senior positions in sales, marketing and strategic development. Prior to joining NewSat, Yael was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Satlink Communications and has lived and worked in South America, North America, Australia and the Middle East.
