Despite the continuing growth of international voice traffic that market is now a zero-sum game according to Stephan Beckert, vice president, strategy at TeleGeography. According to Beckert, wholesale traffic into the top ten destinations in terms of wholesale revenue in 2009 grew by 6 billion minutes, but that growth was accompanied by a US$600-million drop in revenue.
