World Teleport Association… And The Winner, Please… (Event)

[SatNews] World Teleport Association has opened the application process for its 2010 Top Operators rankings, the world’s only yearly rankings of teleport operating companies by revenue and growth rate.

This is your chance to have your company appear in the Top Operators of 2010 rankings. From the data provided by applicants, WTA will publish rankings of:

• The Global Top Twenty — based on revenue from all sources and including all operators: from uplinkers to satellite carriers, fiber network operators to systems integrators, technology providers to specialized satcom service providers
• The Independent Top Twenty — based on revenue from all sources but excluding companies whose primary business is satellite fleet operations or terrestrial network services
• The Fast Twenty — based on year-over-year revenue growth in their most recent complete fiscal years, and including all operators

Large companies and small, with revenues ranging from over US$1 billion to under $2 million, have achieved a Top Operator ranking in past years — these lists aren’t just for the global giants. You must complete and submit a survey form by October 22, 2010, to be considered. Rankings will be announced on November 10th. In addition, every company that submits data for the Top Operators receives consideration for the 2011 Teleport Awards, which will be announced on March 15, 2011, during SATELLITE 2011.
