Some of the world’s most prominent professionals will share their vision of 3D, and present their work and projects featuring exclusive S3D images! Speakers include:
- Steve Schklair, from 3ality Digital Systems, will describe his experience in live 3D production for sports and concerts, and will present some of his work (among other projects, in 2010 he produced 3D acquisitions of a hockey game as well as of a concert of the Black Eyed Peas)
- Producer Vicky Bethivas, from Nineteen Fifteen, will offer a backstage view of Burberry’s fashion show in 3D (filmed in February, 2010)
- François Ruault, from Microsoft, will present Microsoft’s gaming projects
- John R.A. Benson and the team at Mac Guff will present Despicable Me, an S3D animation film directed by Pierre Coffin for Universal Pictures scheduled for release in France in October, 2010 Christophe Scherrer, from France Télévisions Publicité, will share his vision of 3D for TV networks
- Patrick Palmer, from Iridas, and Florian Rettich, HD supervisor & DIT, will present the first images from Win Wenders’ Pina 3D, scheduled for release in 2011
- Vicky Stone, Mark Deeble, Anna Piffl (P+S Technik), and Andy Millns (Inition) will present a world premiere of the first images from Distant Thunder, an incredible documentary in S3D on African wildlife
- Bernat Aragones, professional editor, will give insight on the post-production of Magic Journey to Africa
- Takashi Kawai, professor at the Faculty of Science at the Waseda University, will discuss the current state of 3D in Japan
- Using 3D in surgery with the University Hospital Aachen (Germany)
- Patrice Garlot, from TotaVision, will explain how to make 360° videos in 3D
