Thuraya is going to participate in OSEA 2008, Asia’s largest oil and gas event.
Thuraya has numerous voice and data solutions catering to the high value asset oil and gas industry that is normally located in remote areas. During OSEA, the Company will be promoting its latest solutions — ThurayaIP and ThurayaMarine — as well as marketing its “smallest” and “smartest” satellite phones to the Asian oil and gas industry. Having launched its third satellite that now covers the Asia Pacific region, Thuraya provides border-to-border coverage to more than 140 countries, including their waterways and remote areas. At OSEA 2008, which is being held from the 2nd to the 5th of December in Singapore, Thuraya will be displaying its voice capabilities through the SO-2510 phone as well as the SG-2520 phone which is GSM and satellite compatible. Additionally, Thuraya will be introducing ThurayaIP, its competitive A-5 sized broadband solution as well as displaying its maritime solution, ThurayaMarine that’s designed specifically for the maritime sector that provides voice, data, and location-based services.
