In honor of July 4th and the sacrifices made by the men and women of the U.S. military, Proactive Communications, Inc. (PCI), TANDBERG, and the Freedom Calls Foundation, are proud to offer their video conferencing networks to families of Ft. Hood-based military personnel. As part of a nationwide program, free video conferencing calls will be available to military families in Killeen, Texas, enabling them to connect with family and friends stationed in Iraq. The nationwide events will take place on July 1, 2008, with extended Killeen dates through July 4. Through private, 30-minute video conferencing calls from various locations in Killeen, family and friends of military personnel currently deployed at Camp Prosperity in Iraq’s Baghdad Green Zone will have the opportunity to communicate face-to-face with troops.
