True Visions’ Vision is Furthered with TANDBERG

TANDBERG Television, part of the Ericsson group [NASDAQ:ERIC] has extended its relationship with Thailand’s True Visions Public Company Limited Corporation by providing a new DTH head-end for the True Visions satellite pay-TV service. TANDBERG provides the MPEG-2 encoding and video processing systems as well as nCompass control and management. True Visions, formerly known as UBC, provides DTH and cable TV in Thailand. TANDBERG Television‘s MPEG-2 SD compression systems provide services to one million digital satellite and cable pay-TV subscribers. The system has been supplied in partnership with TANDBERG Television’s business partner, Strong Brothers 1961, who are providing local integration and support.
