Orbit has debuted their OrSat system, a Ku-band Maritime Stabilized Antenna—this is the world’s only system of its kind and size to offer Eutelsat and Intelsat Type Approvals. A service oriented, flexible, robust, and stable antenna for all maritime conditions, OrSat is a mature and proven system that already boasts hundreds of installations worldwide in just the first year since its introduction. OrSat is simple to operate while offering plug-and-play architecture and unmatched cost effectiveness. Orbit also presents its newest Mobile Satellite Communication System for trains. This is a state-of-the-art, low profile system designed specifically for high speed trains. The system allows precise tracking of the satellite while maintaining a continuous and reliable bi-directional satellite communication link for various applications, such as Broadband Internet, Video, VoIP, TV, and more. The Orbit train system was successfully tested by the European MOWGLY consortium and is currently deployed aboard trains in Western Europe. The Mobile SatCom Train system is a joint development of Orbit and TES.
