- Financially Speaking… Yahsat… — Al Yah Satellite Communications Company PrJsc (Yahsat), the UAE’s first nationally-owned satellite operator and wholly-owned subsidiary of Mubadala, is approaching the financial market to raise US$1.2 billion to finance its satellite communications system. The fourteen-year, non-recourse financing will raise US$1 billion in term loan, US$100 million in stand-by term loans, and US$85million in debt service reserve letter of credit.
