- Dalet Digital Media Systems has announced that Al-Watan Television has chosen Dalet News Suite as its tapeless newsroom and production system. The station launched September last year as the first tapeless HD channels in the region Al WATAN AND AL WATAN PLUS.
- NASA Administrator Michael Griffin has announced Ed Weiler is going to remain as NASA’s associate administrator for the agency’s Science Mission Directorate. Weiler was named the interim chief of the directorate earlier this year. As chief executive of the directorate, he will be direct various research and scientific exploration programs for Earth studies, space weather, the solar system, and the universe. He will also manage grant-based research programs and spacecraft projects.
