Xicom Technology is a business unit of Radyne Corporation and they have just obtained an order to ensure Ka-band and tri-band amplifiers are delivered to the U.S. Air Force. These units were developed to operate within the commercial C- and Ku-band, and DoD/DISA Ka- and X-band. Worth some 5.8M/USD, these amplifiers are being procured for the U.S.A.F.’s Ground Multi-band Terminal program. The systems are offered in transit cases.
