OmniBus Systems provides broadcast automation and content management solutions. They have just announced Belgian facilities company VIDEOHOUSE is broadcasting three channels with OmniBus iTX. This is a software-based playout and automation system. In fact, VITAYA, which is a lifestyle-themed channel offered in SD, has been hosted on iTX since September 13th of this year. Health channel VITALITEIT and a third, property themed channel, both digital, then followed suit. iTX is comprised of the three main on-air channels with logo generation and graphics, an ingest channel plus a backup channel. The traffic system with dynamic CGs added in iTX scheduled secondary events. Avid systems content is transferred automatically to the iTX storage for insertion into the playlists.
