RDMS is a data collection and management system designed to assist disaster relief organizations gain real-time situational awareness of field conditions. RDMS allows field users operating in austere environments with little or no communications capability to collect data on handheld devices. They then transmit that data over secure satellite or cellular connections to a virtual network operation center, where it is instantaneously collected and analyzed. RDMS allows field users to input precisely the data they need, based on their own historical operating requirements. The data is then presented in a manner in which the customer would like to view the information. By using RDMS, decision-makers at the organization’s headquarters are able to assess the situation in the field accurately and in real-time—Portsmouth, New Hampshire
