According to the Ottawa Business Journal’s online edition, a new $1.3 million contract has been received by Ottawa-based RAMTelecom from Alberta-based TOG Systems. The contract will require RAMTelecom to provide various products through one of their resellers companies to the oil and gas sector working in the province of Alberta.
Other satellite technologies currently in use by companies in western Canada will be replaced with RAMTelecom’s Linkstar satellite and VoIP service to provide voice and secure data applications. This is a three-year contract. RAMTelecom is going to work closely with TOG over the next several months to install their equipment at customer sites.
