iKO Media Group (iKOMG), a specialist in satellite, cloud, and OTT services, has announced the launch of The FAST Track, a fully integrated, platform-agnostic framework that changes how FAST channels are delivered, monetized and experienced worldwide. a landmark partnership with GB News. The deal brings GB News’ feed to viewers across the Middle East and North Africa using iKOMG’s FASTonSAT service.
This marks the first time GB News has adopted satellite-based FAST distribution. Through FASTonSAT, the channel will be live across more than 66 million households via the Eutelsat 7W/8W satellite position, connecting the network with new audiences and opening up advanced digital monetization through broadcast-scale delivery.

The FAST Track is a managed, end-to-end service suite covering content aggregation, encoding, ad decisioning, playout, multi-platform delivery, and analytics. By leveraging Server-Side and Client-Side Ad Insertion (SSAI/CSAI) technologies, content owners can launch linear TV channels with monetization models suited for every screen: OTT, Connected TV, hybrid platforms, and now satellite.
“The launch of GB News on the FASTonSAT service across the Middle East and North Africa marks another step in the global distribution of Britain’s News Channel. It follows the launch of GB News in the United States of America. We are proud to be the voice of Britain, its voices and its values across the globe.” added Angelos Frangopoulos, GB News CEO.
At the heart of The FAST Track is FAST on SAT, a satellite-based FAST delivery service. It brings FAST channels to more than 66 million households across the Middle East and North Africa via the Eutelsat 7W/8W orbital position. By combining satellite’s broadcast reach with the targeting capabilities of digital advertising, FAST on SAT extends FAST beyond connected devices to broadcast-scale audiences.
“This is a defining moment for the FAST market. With The FAST Track, we’re moving FAST from its OTT roots to a universal distribution model.” said Adir Hadad, VP of Cloud Services at iKOMG. “FAST on SAT connects content owners with audiences previously out of reach, while unlocking new monetization opportunities that combine the best of broadcast and digital. It’s about reach without compromise, quality without interruption, and revenue without boundaries.”
“At iKOMG, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of where and how content can be delivered,”said Rami Goldberg, SVP Sales at iKO Media Group. “The launch of GB News on FASTonSAT is not only a technological milestone, but a strategic one. This partnership demonstrates the power of FASTonSAT to unify reach, reliability, and revenue. From concept to delivery, iKOMG was pivotal in bringing this project to life, and we’re proud to partner with GB News to deliver its content further and faster to new audiences.”
Several niche and genre-specific channels have already adopted FAST on SAT, signaling growing momentum for this innovative delivery model. Official partner announcements will follow ahead of IBC 2025 in Amsterdam, where iKOMG will further highlight The FAST Track’s global potential and evolving roadmap.
This approach also addresses access challenges in regions with limited broadband, giving broadcasters an ad-supported distribution model without internet dependency, while still supporting OTT, SVoD/AVoD, and full app deployment across web, mobile, and CTV for digital-first markets.
The FAST Track by iKOMG establishes a new benchmark for FAST distribution. Scalable, revenue-focused, and built for the next phase of content distribution, it enables channels to expand audiences and secure long-term growth.
