Recently United Airlines made headlines with the installation of SpaceX’s Starlink in the US fleet as well as gaining licenses in India and South Korea.
While all seemed well some United Airlines pilots flying aircraft fleet are disabling the passengers’ Starlink transmission because of interference to the aircraft’s normal operating systems.
United Airlines says that the problems are caused by static, says United, and affected about two dozen aircraft. At no point was safety affected, said the airline.
