Momentus Inc. (NASDAQ: MNTS) will be attending Small Satellite Conference from August 5-10 in Logan, Utah, and will be hosting a presentation to discuss the company’s orbital transportation and hosted payload services, as well as its M-1000 satellite bus that has been designed to be a powerful and low-cost platform to meet the needs of commercial and government customers.

Momentus is well-positioned to meet the growing demand for satellite buses with its flight-proven M-1000 satellite bus that offers significant advantages to commercial and government customers, such as its high power – with as much as 3 kW of peak power – large payload capacity, flexible configuration, speed from requirements to delivery on-orbit, and low cost. Momentus possesses the capability to manufacture satellite buses such as the M-1000 at a rapid and scalable pace.
Momentus has offered the M-1000 satellite bus to commercial constellation providers and to the U.S. Government. For example, Momentus recently submitted a proposal to the U.S. Space Development Agency (SDA) to produce 50 satellites using the M-1000 satellite bus for the Tranche 2 Transport Layer Alpha program.
Orbital Transportation and hosted payload services are Momentus’ other core offerings. Since its first mission in May of 2022, 15 customer satellites have been deployed and hosted payload services have been provided to Caltech and their Space Solar Power Demonstrator that successfully demonstrated wireless transmission in space and beam detection on Earth.
Momentus’ next mission is targeted to launch on the SpaceX Transporter-9 mission no earlier than November of 2023. The Company will be using a deployer to deliver customer satellites for SatRev, Contec Co., and Lunasonde.
