…Central Satellite Database (CSD). The CSD contains satellite and channel information, as well as enabling users to add their own notes and files for reference and build custom reports. It has been built using the latest Asp.Net technology, an innovative framework for building web applications to connect to a database. Being web-based means that the CSD can be accessed from anywhere on a range of devices, including smartphones and tablets. The CSD communicates directly with the server to create and view scheduled recordings. The database also automatically downloads and analyzes satellite and channel information from Lyngsat, ensuring it will be constantly up-to-date.
