…supply filters, switches and ferrite components for use in NASA’s Tracking and Data Relay Satellite (TDRS) program. The TDRS M flight set contract is valued at approximately US$12 million. COM DEV USA successfully completed the engineering and production of over 800 flight qualified components for the TDRS K and L satellites last year. The TDRS System, also referred to as the NASA Space Network, is a constellation of telecommunications satellites in geo-stationary orbit capable of providing high bandwidth (S-, Ku-, and Ka-band) communications services for low Earth orbiting spacecraft and expendable launch vehicles. Boeing Space and Intelligence Systems was awarded the TDRS K and L contract in December 2007. The contract had options for two additional spacecraft, TDRS M and N.
